booting troble?
i have intel 915 GEV motherboard and when
i on power switch fan starts and light flashes of hdd and after few
seconds it stop flashing hdd light my monitor green light turn on and
remains on..
but it shows only white screen and my system doesnt boot.
my power strip,power supply,power connectors,monitor connector are
ok.after 4-5 attempts it boots. i dont
use video card i have inbuilt graphics accelerator. can any body suggest the cause of troble?

are all the cables connected snuggly? It could be a lot of things. Sorry i'm not that much help on this one
Hey it must be something in the boot things the system bios, or it must be a problem with your hard rive or you mother board it happened ones to me or the connector i shave a probe which connect to the monitor that happened then i replaced the cable,

It could be that not all the drivers are loading. Try booting into safe mode - go to device manager to check the status of your drivers. Also, you have the option by tapping F8 for safe mode to boot from the last known good start up.
I think it is a hardware problem. I don't know if it is a store bought complete system or a homemade pc. I could be an incompatible part or an inferior/defective power supply or memory.
