Avoid traveling charges?
I'm going on a family vacation to the Dominican Republic to see my cousins for about a week and a half and my dad says I have to leave my phone at home or we will have to pay a lot because of traveling charges. I really want to bring my phone so I can take pictures and play offline games on the plane or when I am there. Are there any settings I can set my phone to or anything I can do so I don't have to go a week without it? I have an iPhone 4 with AT&T if it matters.
