If i remember correctly its when the nappy is wet, the picture on the front dissappears or changes. They are from huggies i think, and i used these for my son when he was training. Gradually she will get to know what it means and will be able to tell you. Or you could just keep her nappy off for a while around the house and if she does have an accident, just reassure her and ask her to remember to tell you, or leave the potty somewhere that she knows she can get to easily.
