It sounds to me like all of this is brought on by anxiety. Find someone you trust you get everything you are feeling out. Just totally vent and cry if you need to. If you don't feel better than maybe try talking to a professional about how hard the shooting effected you. It would be totally understandable and nobody would judge you for it.

You are afraid of the unknown. I've been through what your going through. It's just noises and movements. In other words scare tactics. If your room is haunted then the spirit can only feed off the fear you give it. That's why you are experiencing the scare tactics. Bottom line is that it can't touch you. "Perfect love cast out all fear"

When you stop smoking, its very normal to have more vivid dreams. I'm sure you're just a little crazy from withdrawal. Just calm down and deal with it until it goes away.

I think you're traumatized. The tragedy was in your hometown, so you're probably scared, paranoid, and worried. You should probably see a therapist to help yourself out.

Sleep with the lights on and a switchblade next to you. It's what I do.....I'm full out insane though.......
