My wife received a traffic ticket for doing 56 in a 35. she didn't receive a reckless driving charge. however since she was doing 20 over she did lose 6 points on her license. now all she wants to know is how a driver improvement clinic will help her reduce either her driving points or insurance... additional note... Geico doesn't accept driver improvement classes for people below 50 years of age (she won't listen to me on this point). now she wants to know what kind of time line she has to do the driver improvement class for the DMV, since she wasn't referred and is going voluntarily. I've explained this whole situation to her several times... and drew her a picture about it, but now she wants me to ask all you fine folks on here what you think. so, begrudgingly, here it is. thanks.

the best thing I have done is to install a warning device in my car. It has saved me a few fines at least and my licence has points to spare------at the moment so it is money well spent ! Good luck
