18th Birthday?
I really need everyones help on this. I am turning 18 yrs old. I live in Atlanta, GA and i thought about having a party but my birthday is in two weeks so thats kind of late. So now i was thinking maybe i should just have a small get together like always but what would i do? any idea works. but try to steer away from parties. thank you!

A lot of people see 18 as a really big turning point in their life.... pretty much no longer being seen as a kid. If you want to do a small get together, make a list of your closest friends (and family if you want) and decide to have a "dinner party", only without the party part. Cook (or buy) fancy food and drinks, make everyone dress up or specify a color scheme (they wear black and white and you wear something colorful), have music playing, and if you decide you want to do something "fun", a good game to play is the purse game. Make a list of things that may or may not be found in a purse and read them off. The person with the most matching items wins. This can be a sophisticated event thats fun, but doesn't scream "18th birthday party".
