Your piercer did not know what he was doing, pierced you with the incorrect gauge most tragus are gauged at a 16 (I have mine done with 16) and the jewelry he used is for a nose piercing. At this point there's not much you can do. If you tried putting in a 16g it would be too big and probably would not go through, if it did it would hurt really bad. Correct tragus jewelry is a type that generally has screws on both ends if it is a bar, or a captive bead ring which you can google or a circular barbell also with screws. These should not come off under most circumstances however one of my screws popped off last year because my ear was so swollen but that's besides the point. Honestly I would just let your hole close because there's not much you can do. And if you get it repierced it will be difficult and will hurt more because of scar tissue. If you do try however make sure you go to a more reputable place. It should cost around $40-50 if it costs around 20 get away from there, it won't be quality at all. Good luck!
