Either would be co-ed but the dance party will take a lot more work to get ready for than the swimming party, but I am trying to keep from having too much of a theme and I want people to show up.
1. What should I do- Dance Party- the girls LOVE our school dances but the guys dont go to them as much and so I'm afraid I wont have as many people show up.
- Swimming Party- everyone loves them but they seem a little kiddish and my birthdays in September so everyone has been swimming all summer so I am afraid that people are tired of it. We live in a small town so that's about all we have to do during the summer besides go to the movies 15 min away
2. What should I do for invitations on each because I want something to give them out at school and they need to be really amazing and people need to notice them for people to come! I need ideas for both I was thinking about making cds and writing the party info on the outside with the songs everyone love on the cd. or sunglasses with the same concept minus the music. i no wat u mean by how swimming parties can seem slightly kiddish :/ but it would be cool if u had lyk a barbecue and played truth or dare, or played more older games lyk beach football :)
dance parties sound great but ur rite as well, mostly its only the girls that show up. i think if u theme it well and hold it in a more club area with proper lights nd stuff, most ppl will show up :)
