I'm Using windows 7 64 bit. Asus driver CD contains RTL8111C drivers for 64 bit win 7.
I have tried updating drivers through every possible method. Tried uninstalling drivers restarted and installed from update driver in device manager and selected have disk and installed. Tried installing via driver CD tried installing from drivers from realtek website.

Also tried in safe mode with networking many times.
Other than the realtek ethernet driver is there any other thing to install along with it? Or is some other drivers causing any conflicts. In device manager under network adapter I have uninstalled everything else and tried to install still does not work.
In BIOS the ethernet adapter seems to be enabled also when I plug in Lan cable there is light coming from the port so device should be working fine.
When I uninstall the drivers and either restart the system or search for plug and play win 7 automaticaly installs the 7.2 version of the driver. (the driver cd contains 7.3). All drivers give the device cannot start code 10 error after installing except 8.3 version of the driver which gives code 39 error.
It was working fine till a few days before. Only thing I have done is changing ISP (wasnt using for a few days)

Above poster answered it for the most part, only other time I have seen that error and error code was when the realtek card I had, went bad altogether.
