How do you lead someone on Boethiah's calling skyrim?
Hi im doing the quest and i was just asked to lead someone to become trapped by the shrine and slay them how do i bring them to the shrine and who do i bring to the shrine.. thanks
Lead any non-essential follower to the shrine and activate command mode (holding 'use' or via the "I need you to do something" conversation option).Highlight the pillar and you should see "Use the Pillar of sacrifice". Tell them to do this and they will move towards it and be pulled in and stuck to it. If the follower is essential, he will not trigger the pillar.
Kill the follower using any means (despite what the Priestess says, you do not have to use the Blade of Sacrifice or even any weapon) and Boethiah will use their body as a conduit to tell you she may have a use for you. She tells you and all of the cultists that she has a task for whoever is left standing. This results in all the cultists attacking one another (and you).
If you have already killed all the followers of Boethia, she will then possess the corpse of the last follower you slew and the quest proceeds as normal.
you can only lead someone that is one of your followers. you gain followers by doing missions for people and if you talk to them, you can tell them to follow you. Lydia is an easy follower to get because she becomes your follower after you complete the first two or three missions for jarl balgruf the greater in dragonsreach in whiterun as part of the main story line. If you have a house in whiterun Lydia will be there, but if you dont have a house in whiterun, she will be in dragons reach.
Get a follower and ask them to do something then point them towards that rod thing use a mercenary from and inn because they are useless compared to other followers there's one in the riften inn and the whiterune one they are 500 to hire
The game might have not registered the levels properly due to the console and is permanently glitched like that for the quest. The 'possible' workaround is to use the command 'saq' which forces the game to start >every< quest in the game so it can potentially start it for you. It is warned that due to the excess text inputted all at once, it might crash your game.
