A flat char would be rather one dimentional, whereas a round character would be one who has many traits. Usually a novel might have a round character as its central protagonist, but other characters might be flat.
A static character would stay the same throughout the story, and a dynamic character would change. Coming of age books, such as To Kill a Mockingbird, typically have at least one character who develops and changes as the story unfolds.
Flat And Round Characters
In a book, a flat character is a character who is not really developed and does not change throughout the story, while a round character is a character who is developed and may change.
Flat characters have one personality round characters have many
A flat character reveals only one character, and a round character is a character you know more about
flat characters are ones with simple personalities while round characters have more personalities
Ok so this is how it goes, a flat character is pretty much a character who is not as important as the main character, and round characters are characters who are important and primary.
