I was on trolley and was not able to put money in but had to go home. A cop caught me and gave me a traffic ticket. I'm 18 and that is the first ticket since I been 18. Will they make me pay or will I be able to do something else? And since it is traffic court will it stay on my record from the one I had before I turned 18 or my record is all clear ?

Your driver's record exists from the time you get your driver's license until you die...in other words, regardless of how old you were, infractions/tickets still appear on your driver's record.
If you go to court and ask for other options, there may be other opportunities available to you instead of paying the citation. Sometimes, there is an option for traffic school or community service.
