recently i was sent an "unofficial copy" of my hs transcripts after i have already been denied from all of my schools and found that though i have been trying to get into science programs my school once again ****** up and said that i failed a math regents and never retook it which i did and i got a 65 (better than failing right) so i went into my guidance dept. and basacally said wtf and they said woops and changed it and said they would resend my transcripts
what im wondering is , is resending my transcripts going to make any difference at all or am i just screwed
they are being sent to cortland, binghamton, esf, stonybrook, and plattsburgh...
thanks

At best, you'll probably be waitlisted. I would suggest you go back in and demand that the superintendent write a personal letter to each school you applied to that the school screwed up with the transcript. Just blindly resending the transcript will likely not lead to any results because your file at each of the schools has been closed. To get them reopened you need some authoritative weight.
This late it could be really tough. What you might want to do though is get in touch with admissions at each place and try to explain what happened to them.
Worst come to worst, work for a year, save up and apply again for next year - and make sure that your HS doesn't **** up again.
On the bright side, you'll enjoy college more with some extra $$ on hand, and you'll appreciate it more/ get more out of it being a little older. Plus the break from academics (think about it - you've been going to school nonstop for 13 years if you count kindergarten) will recharge your batteries, and you'll be happy to be in a classroom again come Fall 2010.
i could propose against a GED. GED's are not worth something contained in the sensible international - they make you look like a dropout. in case you have made the committment to get an affiliate's degree from an area college, and you're able to try this without a intense college degree, then you could in basic terms bypass the highschool, for the reason which you could have shown which you have some person-friendly skills, and the skill to fulfill the purpose. that's the point of a HS degree, in any case.
