Okay so I weigh 280lbs. I'm 5'8" tall. I have two children (to an extent relevant). I want to start losing weight and I've read so much material on weight loss, what to do, not what to do, I'm quite sick. But anyway, I want to know what my activity level is? I work full-time 5 days a week in a nursing home. Where I do a lot lifting and a lot of walking. I work on the 5th floor and usually take the stair to and fro. There are some days than most, I don't actually get to take my 30 minute break because of resident needing my assistance. I also walk to and from work as well which is approximately 1 mile from where I live. I like to consider myself a moderately active person but I really do not have a clue.
A few things extra: Before children I weighed in about 165-70 lbs. Between the two of them I have gained about 100lbs and my youngest is going to be 5 in less then two months. I'm really just looking for any solid advice into anything pertaining to the start of my journey as well as; What is the actual level of the activity I may be doing on a daily basis and I also walk my children to school every morning.

Well, first of all, you have to change it up. I'm guessing you're looking more to tone than to really lose too much weight. (toning = getting slimmer vs. weight loss = no muscle gain) So say you do a quick cardio workout one day and then work on your top half. The next day do a different type of cardio and work on your bottom half. Walking just isn't doing it any longer because your body has built up a tolerance for it. You might have to consider portion control. Use a smaller plate/cup/bowl. I'm not suggesting a diet. Because face it, with two kiddos, that's nearly impossible. If you don't mind being completely and utterly sore for a week, I'd recommend Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred. It's very effective and takes 30 minutes total. That's including the warm up and cool down. It sucks for the first few days, but if you can stick with it, it's worth it. :) $10 at WalMart.
I'll now not let you know my age, however I am in my teenagers. My bodily undertaking stage could be very top, I'd say. I figure out daily. Be that exercises train, going to the gymnasium, yoga, gymnastics, mountain climbing, or browsing. I'm continuously worried on one in every of my tuition's exercises groups--pass nation, football, softball..... that's, while I shouldn't have a damaged foot from football ;) Ha--I feel I'm having going for walks withdrawls. My favourite bodily undertaking could most likely be browsing. It's fully super. Everyone will have to check out it :)
