I am trying to upload music to my LG CU500v and whenever i cancel out of the install wizard it disconnects the usb.

a little more info may help clear it up. Like if your running Vista 9 chances out of 10 you need to upload additional software to connect it. You may also want to try using a usb adaptor to the memory card which requires no software to hook up.
