no sequal to the princess bride

No sequel to the film. The book had a "fake" sequel called Buttercups baby - this has not actually been written but you can find the first chapter in some of the editions of the book. I beleive this may actually be written at some point but i hope not. the book is my favourite book and it would probably be spoiled by a sequel.

IMDB.com did not list any sequels or movies following this one. It could have had one, and i'm sure there are many that looked like it could have been a sequel. But IMDB (the premier movie site) did not list any sequels in their "Movie Connections" under The Princess Bride.

No i don't think it did, it might have been a second movie but may have been the after match of the hype that prompted to do copycat movies in the 80"s
