I'm thinking of buying a trampoline for myself and my sister as we are both gymnasts and would like to keep our strength up between practices, as well as trying out new skills without a hard landing surface. I've been doing some research and Vikan trampoline came up as one of the best. Do you know anything about the company? It says that the trampolines are used in the USA Gymnastics Olympic Training Center, but I just want to make sure they are good because they cost over nine hundred dollars. I am considering the 14ft-Gold Medalist type.
Also, are there any other brands that you know of that would be good for gymnastics?

It's nothing special.
This is an excellent professional trampoline for gymnasts and is much better (I have one)

The difference is in the mat and springs. The springs will last for 10 years because they are good quality and the mat is WOVEN. very different to the mesh mat you have chosen.
I am not sure how much a professional will cost, but I am sure you could find a small or second hand trampoline with a WOVEN bed and proper springs for that sort of money.
Also, the round trampolines are not so good for athletes (more a family trampoline). rectangle ones keep you in the middle and have more spring in them for serious gymnasts.
I hope this helps.

Pay the cost and get a TP trampoline or a supertramp trampoline. I bought a plum merchandise trampoline from argos two years in the past, and the backside of the springs have rusted, and the spring quilt is garbage. For children elderly five-7 it's valued at making an investment in a encompass, because it signifies that you will not must watch them always, as they may not be equipped to fall off. Also purchase a protecting quilt to place on within the iciness. I discover that the enormous rectangular trampolines are bouncier circular ones, and in addition the better the trampoline the fewer bouncy. Mine is 8ft and will effectively have round three 'bouncers' at a time, mine has tons of jump, in spite of being very deficient high-quality. Any better than 10ft and also you simply can not jump properley in case your a thin individual, as you do not have adequate weight. With trampolines do spend up to you'll, becuase you pay for high-quality.
