Any tips for high school track? Im thinking about running the 200 &400 next year. Please help :)
Get a pair of sprinting shoes. Usually saucony track shoes. (Not sneakers).
Use the 321 method to get faster
3 run as fast as you can for 30 seconds
2 your normal jogging pace but faster for 15 seconds
1 slow jogging for 15 seconds to recover
The further you can run the faster you are for shorter distances.
Be able to run 3 miles or 2 miles in 10-20 minutes is great because that's fast jogging the whole time.
