i dont think theres a monthly charge (not with a basic account anyway). look in the help section im sure there is a fee schedule. basically you pay an insertion fee which usually ranges from 25 cents to a couple bucks pending on the bells and whistles, a final value fee which is a percentage you pay of the final value to ebay at the end of the auction, and then if you use pay pal, they charge you like 30 cents plus 3%. selling on ebay kinda sucks in the end you probably only get 70 maybe 80% of the sale price in the end if youre lucky
You get charged for what you sell only, unless you open a ebay store. I sell from time to time and it's generally 35 cents a listing, that includes one pic and a display pic on the side when searching for items...if you want to add more pictures and a background ect it can get costly to list and doesn't mean your more likely to sell it. When you sell the item ebay charges a very small amount based on the amount it sold for, again it is very minimal. They will email you a statement of your account at the end of the month and you can pay through paypal.

There are no monthly fees if you do not have a store. They charge a fee to list an item, and also a fee based on the final sale price.
