So me and my brother are going to visit Vietnam this summer (im 13, my brother is 17), we're flying from DFW (Texas, USA). We both have our legal documents, but i'm wondering are we allowed to travel alone? Or do i have to pay for some services for minor travelling alone? Or i'm not allowed to travel at all? And what airline would you suggest? we're going at the beginning of june and planning to come back at the beginning of august and yes, i have my mom will be picking me up at the Vietnamese airport along with my family in Vietnam

Yes, kids age 15 and over can travel without an adult and may supervise a younger child. Some airlines even allow kids 12 and over to go alone. You do NOT need to sign up for the unaccompanied minors program. You will need an adult to purchase the tickets for you. You will buy adult tickets and fly as adults. You will both need passports and a letter of permission to travel out of the country without your parents. It is supposed to be signed by each parent and notarized. If your mom is already in Viet Nam, she can prepare a letter and send it to you . You father can write another letter for you to carry. As far as which airline is best...the adult who is going to buy your tickets can check the travel sites and find the best deal on tickets.
it sounds good to me. that you can travel
