From what I managed to gather, the barrel length on a G36C is 247 mm in length or 9.724 in. These figures are approximate, and your owners Manuel should tell you exactly.
What I have noticed on many silencers out on the market, is that they don't have an inner barrel at all, so if you were to shoot a BB through it, the BB will most likely just rattle around inside the silencers. Airsoft silencers where actually designed to cover up the access barrel that was sticking out from the gun. Airsoft silencers don't silence anything, as they were never designed to do so. If you want the silencer to work, get a barrel that is as long as your normal barrel, and then add the length of the silencer to get the new barrel length.
ivan,,the only reason bb's would rattle around in an airsoft silencer is if the hop-up unit is mis adjusted. silencers on airsoft weapons dont do as much as people expect them to. what you need to understand about airsoft silencers is that they dont do anything to quiet the sounds of the mechbox. where you do hear a noticable difference is downrange from the weapon, and yes typically silencers are used to to hide upgrades like tightbore barrels. the only weapon where the the silencer does the job its suppose to is the tm mk 23 socom nbb pistol ( think sam fisher and you will get the idea ). hope that clears some issues about silencers.
